Back in early 90s, oxtails were dirty cheap. My mom used to buy them by a box at a super cheap price..they were practically giving them away but now, it has become a sort of luxury. The price has gone up so much!
Also when i was growing up in early 90's, I remember chicken breast being very expensive...which was good because I never cared for it. The wings on the other hand, were dirty cheap.
Now, chicken breast is relatively cheap and cost around the same as chicken wings.
Chicken thigh meat has become really popular over the yrs. I don't remember buying skinless and boneless chicken thigh in 20 century but now it's one of my favorite thing to buy as it's quick and deilcious.
Pork also has gone up high in value...especially the belly part.
Organic food has definitly become much popular..i don't think organic food was even there when I was growing up.
People used to eat margarine thinking that it's healthier than butter..(maybe some still do?) but who knew margarine is only one molecule away from plastic.
What are some changes you notice?
