In response to a comment about my recent visit to "33" that reached them by direct means (not from this board), and in fairness to the restaurant, I today received a note by e-mail from the general manager, who seemed sincere in his interest in clearing the air figuratively AND literally. (He writes that they've taken steps to keep clouds of cigarette smoke from the outside-smokers from fogging up the dining area.. a major complaint of mine)
Others who responded to my post had expressed various displeasures with the place. In the interest of fairness, I thought I'd better report that I did hear from the restaurant, which took the initiative to contact me, and they seem interested in dealing with the basic issues that bothered me.
If anyone wanted the e-mail address of the general manager to take up other concerns, write me and I will send it to you directly. Given the sorry state of human interaction these days, I appreciate and applaud any form of personal interest in doing _anything_ well.
