This past weekend I tried my first "chinese" burrito from Chino Locos. (I visited the new location on Church St. near Wellsley.). BlogTO recently said their fish burrito could be the best in the city and I really have to agree.
It's on the menu as "Da Finest" and it has a well-seasoned white basa fish fillet that they sautée when you order it. The fish is really flavourfull and extremely tender. It comes with guacamole, tomatoes, edamame beans, red onions, black beans, green peppers, cilantro, cheese, sour cream and chipotle sauce. Oh, I went with the staff's recommendation of chow mein instead of rice, and that was a great choice.
Now I've finally found a tastier (and healthier) option to Burrito Boyz's deep-fried Halibut burrito. I didn't like Chino's steak burrito though, the sauce was overwhelming and the rice was overcooked.
Has anyone else fallen in love with their fish burrito, or tried any of the other offerings?
