Other than Firefly and Lotus…

Are there any REALLY good moderately priced restaurants in Vegas? We’re going back at the end of August, and we’ll definitely be hitting up Firefly on Paradise (It’s a year later and I’m still dreaming about the stuffed dates)

We Loved Lotus too, and will probably be hitting them up as well.

I have a friend who keeps telling me to go to Chicago Joe’s… it looks like a cute Mom and Pop red sauce place… how’s the food?

We’re staying on the strip, and will probably have a car… we haven’t decided yet.

We’ve done at least one big slurge each time we’ve gone to Vegas… went to OTTO one late afternoon thinking we’d have a nice light meal and not spend too much money and wound up blowing over $100 and then we were ready for “dinner” by 8:30 (I had three ‘tastings’ of wine, my husband had two)

This time, we’re looking to cut back on the budget but still get some really good meals in, thinking "where do the locals eat?" too

Do any of the restaurants have tasting menus which would come in under $100 for the both of us? (sans wine or drinks of course)
Whew, well thanks in advance for any suggestions!
