Fellow chowhounder here in a pinch. I'm doing an almost impromptu "vacation" in the Lansing Michigan area (my son is in a golfing tournament there), for around a week. Leaving Wednesday.
I usually have time for much more research as far as food/restaurants but given the timing I could use some suggestions.
When I think "great food" the state "Michigan" doesn't exactly leap to mind, but I'm starting from ignorance here.
Are there any stand out restaurants or places to eat in this area?
I'll take any recommendations, from quick cheap "must eats" to casual dining to fine dining. Usually I manage one night out for at a fine dining restaurant per trip.
