Where to find some dry ice in Brooklyn?

messyjesse | Oct 27, 2009 12:34 PM

I'm making spooky halloween punch again this year, and I'm desperately trying to find some place in Brooklyn that will sell me some dry ice on Saturday.

I'm also looking for a grocery store that sells Lime sherbet. I don't want high end or gourmet stuff, the flavor I want (and need) is from that mass produced lime sherbet I remember as a kid....but nobody near me seems to sell the stuff. I've tried the Key Food, Met, and a C-Town and the closest I can find is some rainbow schlock. Here's what I'm thinking as a recipe if anybody wants to weigh in:

Pineapple Juice
Ginger Ale
Lime Sherbet
Vodka (and Light Rum?)

(probably going with Diet Ginger Ale or Diet 7up this year...looking for anyway to limit the sweetness)
