I finally made it to Financier early enough this morning to take a crack at their croissants, which are usually sold out by the time I get there. With the first bite I was in love. It was everything a great croissant should be. If not the best I've had in NYC, it's definitely up there. Competitors would be Ceci-Cela, Fauchon, and L'Occitane Cafe, possibly Almondine, but I need to try them side-by-side to pick a winner.
