Finally! A Dok Bua visit!

..and so totally worth it...thanks guys!

Found myself in the Coolidge Corner area around lunchtime and decided to finally venture there for lunch.

All I can say!

First of all, what a deal. $6.25 and here's what I got:

-2 thai egg rolls (basically spring rolls, though they don't call them that)
-1 large container of chicken/coconut soup
-1 order of chicken with scallions, onion, ginger, with rice.
-all the condiments I could get my grubby li'l hands on.

Let me just say first that the thai spring rolls were delicious; delicately fried in a light, non-greasy, but oh-so-delicious batter. I took my lunch to go and proceeded to down both of them in the car, on my way back to work.

The chicken dish was simple, but flavorful. Strips of white meat chicken in a very light sauce; actually hardly a 'sauce' at all but flavorful none-the-less.

The chicken coconut soup was excellent as well; it's actually still in the fridge at work 'cause I just had too much food!

I know, I know, I didn't even do this place justice, grabbing one of the lunch specials and not trying the crispy fried catfish or many of those other dishes that look so intriguing and...good.
