I will be in Mexico City for the first time just after the new year. I’m there from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I’ve already made several reservations, but looking to fine tune or get other suggestions, as well. I’m flying to Oaxaca on Monday morning and will be there for 2 days. I would love suggestions for that, too. I am a pescatarian (just to keep in mind).
We are staying in Roma Norte at La Valise in Mexico City. So far my reservations are:
2:30 Maximo Bistrot
10am Masala y Maiz
4pm Omakase Tacos at Pujol
Lalo! for breakfast?
9am Pasillo de Humo
I currently don’t have a reservation for Friday night and was thinking of doing a tour with Eat Like a Local (Street Food at Night and Hidden Neighborhoods Tour) from 8-11:30pm.
Are there any places that you think I need to go that I’m missing? (Quintonil is closed for the holidays). Other places on my list are Amaya and Merotoro. I'm open to any and all suggestions!
For Oaxaca, we are staying at Casa Oaxaca. Some places I have flagged are:
Las Quince Letras
I’ve done far less research on Oaxaca than Mexico City, so I would love suggestions.
Thanks in advance, we are so excited about this trip.
