Filipino food in New Jersey

MdA | Oct 15, 2001 11:24 PM

I was searching the site for other Filipino restaurants in NJ and was appalled at the lack of info so I have decided to post some of my own suggestions in the hope of getting some discussion. I enjoy Little Quiapo (for traditional Filipino fare like oxtail, adobot, pansit, etc. ) and Philippine Bread house for baked goods on Newark Ave. in Jersey city. For barbecue, I go to Manila Sunset East on Montgomery Ave. (in front of Jersey City Medical). I keep hearing about these great Filipino food places in Queens, but am unwilling to make the trek unless someone can assure me they can offer me more than the places in Jersey.
