I have an eleven month old who no longer eats baby food, but can't eat anything too hard like raw carrots, salad, etc. Staple lunches or dinners are egg sandwiches or french toast, pasta with red sauce (including lasagna or ravioli), tofu hotdogs, and fake chick'n grillers, plus rice or bread and fruit or veggies. I myself eat seafood, milk, and eggs, but no meat. Chowpup is a meat eater, but I find it hard (but not impossible) to stomach preparing it for him. I am responsible for every single bite that goes into his mouth! What can I add to the rotation that is low maintenance, low salt, nutritionally sound, and yummy? Even better if it's something I can eat too, that means higher turnover and fresher food. Munchkin will occasionally eat fish, but I think the texture gets to him after a while. He holds it in his mouth like chewing gum and eventually starts whining. He does this with red meat (like pot roast) too sometimes.
