I have now been to this small counter service place on Maple Avenue four times, and I am having a hard time deciding which of the four dishes I got was best. When in doubt, order anything as a platter (here called a 'board') and you will be treated to a 'fast food' feast that makes it a crime to go the golden arches or anywhere else where you may spend more for way less.
The picture below is for the beef shawarma sandwich ($7) turned into a board for another $3.75. The roast chicken here is beautiful and crispy, the chicken salad great, and the chicken shawarma is high quality. With the board, I was able to substitute baba ganouj for hummus. This is enough food for two.
The board includes hummus, cabbage salad, taboulleh, pita, fries, spinach pie, stuffed grape leaf, onions with sumac, hot peppers, pickled turnip.
