Now that summer has really hit it's stride, I'm scratchin' my head about where all the chiles are hiding. Anyone got a line on poblanos at a farmers market on the peninsula? Saturday in San Mateo is my usual haunt, but I've also checked Sunday in Mtn. View and come up empty handed. One of the really stellar tomato/cucumber/chile folks who was with us last year in San Mateo is MIA so far this season.
Any help appreciated. Even the ones at Whole Foods look like they've been around the block a couple of times.
