The one near Wyckoff, with the lovely lemon colored walls and the spiffy logo. Has anyone tasted their stuff? I went in for a quick browse on Saturday, and noted the following: the breads look like a terrific, much-needed addition to the neighborhood. Sandwiches look awesome. Ditto the cheese display. However, they are selling parmesan reggiano for-- hold your breath-- $16.99 a pound! (There's some for $17.99 a pound too). I pay $12.99 for superb parmesan reggiano at the Ninth Avenue Cheese Market stand in Grand Central, near my office.

I think I will continue to buy my cheese at Ninth Avenue. After a year or two, I'll be able to buy a plane ticket to Italy with all the money I save by not shopping for cheese in Brooklyn.
