Decided it is time to pick up a 24cm sauté. I can get a Mauviel with lid for $399 or Falk with lid for $357.
I am slightly leaning Falk, but the sides are only 2.36” versus the Mauviel’s at 3.0”. It is less than a quart different, but I wonder about the real-life usability of the Falk over the long run.
I don’t want the aesthetics to come into play in the decision, I have pieces from each manufacturer, so that doesn’t matter. I have found my Falk Saucier very easy to clean, which is nice.
What say you ‘hounds?
