My experience with Lodge Enameled Cast Iron

Jillsee | Jan 1, 202112:38 PM     2

I have a Lodge 7 quart EC Dutch Oven since 2011.It started chipping in several places(I posted my experience on here)Well, the chipping got really bad so I contacted Lodge about it.They asked for pictures and details when/where purchased.I had no recollection where we bought it (DH bought it for me as Christmas gift). They said no problem, pick a color and they'll send me a replacement FREE.They were out of stock on the 7.5 quart one and said I'd have to wait a few weeks.I actually thought that pot was too big since now I mostly just cook for 2-3 people.I decided on the 6 quart in Lagoon (teal) color and a week later I had it.It definitely is better quality than my original one!So happy they put a stainless steel knob on current model, no crappy black plastic like my old Lodge.I cooked a few meals in it already and so far I'm happy.I would recommend Lodge if you are on a budget and take care of it.I'm very pleased with Lodge's customer service!
