Lovely dining room, very gracious service, particularly for a weekday lunch, nice crusty rolls and soft butter, and, brace yourself, an amuse bouche! At lunch! Really! Little espresso cup of lobster & potato bisque, a lovely, flavorful little broth.
I had a spicy tomato juice that really was spicy, essentially a bloody mary minus the vodka. Great tomato flavor spiked with some serious horseradish and tabasco. Followed that with the wild salmon with oven-roasted tomato, artichoke & olive couscous. Really an excellent dish. I otherwise might have opted for the duck confit or the flat-iron steak, but I asked the waiter and he rightfully recommended the salmon. Very flavorful, extremely fresh flavors, and just the right portion size.
My coworker had the mixed green salad with feta cheese, which looked lovely, followed by the scallops nicoise, which also looked very nice.
Overall, I would highly recommend lunch there and will definitely return for dinner.
