Just went for lunch today with my wife and son. Has anyone ever tried this place? It is in a small building across the street from the old Whalom Park (sniff) on Route 13. Large variety of different hot dogs and toppings that come either steamed or grilled. And they serve the dogs on potato rolls. Very inexpensive too.
We had six dogs: three Reuben dogs (with pastrami, swiss cheese, saurkraut and brown mustard), two Texan dogs (with baked beans and bbq/onion sauce), an Elvis dog (chili, cheese sauce and onions), a side of cole slaw, two bags of chips and three drinks and it was just over $19.00
The dogs were fresh and hot and the rolls were soft and very fresh. I like the way that they use potato hot dog rolls as they are very sturdy in order to contain the generous amounts of toppings.
When we were there, we noticed that there was a sign showing VB from Fox Morning News. He ranked Elvis's Hot Dog Palace as #1 hot dog in New England (among new comers that have been in business five years or less). Not sure what was the competition though.
If hot dogs are your thing and are in the area, I recommend this place. They also have a website (that I am unsure of but I'm sure can be googled).
