I'm helping some friends by preparing appetizers and hors d'oeuvres for an anniversary party he's having. The party will be in a bar, and there are no kitchen facilities available, so everything needs to be easy to eat, ready to go on trays, and served at room temperature.
Any ideas? They want really elegant, bite-sized pieces... money is not an object, so I can splurge on a few really nice ingredients.
Also, if any experienced party hosts out there have ideas on how many different items I should have on my menu, and how many pieces per person I should plan for, it'd be much appreciated. They're expecting fewer than 50 guests.
