Had a very pleasant birria here - tender goat, nice simple sauce of tomatoes, a few herbs, and goat juice.
(We sit down. Waitress came up to us, asked us what we wanted. We said, "We haven't gotten menus yet." She says, "No menu today, just birria." I say, "Alright, we'll have birria."

Amy sez: These are handmade. Not handmade as in made by a person with a tortilla handpress, but *handrolled*. She sez, of all her time kicking around Oaxaca, she's only had tortillas this good twice: one from a gramma, and another from a place that was known for it's tortillas, and had a big window in the front where you could watch them handroll tortillas. Like the dumplings at Din Tai Fung, she says.
Oh - searching for an address for this place, I found a webpage from the LA Weekly with J.Gold's list of birria. I'm going to hit them all. Anybody have any places to add?
