Restaurant 22 is in Cambridge the rest are in London.
Ransome's Dock- I had a lunch here- carrot and orange soup and mozzarella galettes. Honest cooking but nothing special. The river view is poor by the way.
Restaurant 22- watermelon pumpkin seed and feta salad followed by spinach canelloni and then elderflower and blackcurrant torte. The best thing was the courgettes amongst the side vegetables to the canelloni, which were buttery. The spinach was just that cooked spinach no additional ingredients at all. I was shocked. The torte was disgusting. Still you can tell they are trying hard. I believe they have a website www.restaurant22.co.uk
Il Forno- Chick pea leek and tomato soup then cappriocosa pizza with french beans on the side. Good cooking although the soup conceived me that soup has to be very good for a large bowl of homogenised version not to be boring after a while. Pizza base was a class above the run of the mill.
Il Convivio. Good food but agreed with fellow diners that a rung below Zafferano in every dept.
