I work on East 42nd Street and have been craving Lebanese food lately. I know about Al Bustan on 3rd & 50th, but Byblos is closer - 3rd & 39th. The most recent posting I could find was from early in 2001. Anybody have any more recent experience? I'd also like to know if it is, like Al Bustan, a white-tablecloth place or more casual? Would it be the kind of place where I could just run in and get something to go?
I know I could find this out for myself by walking over there today, but it's bitter cold out and I also hate to waste precious lunch-hour time on a fact-finding mission. So please save me from frost-bite with some opinions!
