How do you eat a large Italian?

Ferrari328 | Aug 26, 201912:49 PM     78

Having not grown up in this country it might be a stupid question. Having recently bought a large Italian on braided from Anthony's Italian Specialties in Stoneham, I'm baffled. If you try to eat the sandwich closed you either get 90% meat or 90% toppings. Unless you can bite straight down, but that seems impossible. I find that eating it flat works much better but now you have to balance the thing so the toppings don't fall off. Pic 2. Yes, this is about three dinners for me.
