Want to eat our food before or on ferry at Horseshoe Bay

OK, fellow Chowhounders in Vancouver, I have a request. We are flying into Vancouver a week from Tuesday and will be driving up the coast to the Egmont area. We arrive at the airport at 11AM and we have to buy some boating things before we can start the drive up. Time is critical. We have to make the 4:30PM ferry so that we arrive with enough light left to allow us to make the last stretch to our lake cabin by boat. Perhaps there will be a full moon...

We will be shopping on West Fourth Street, in Vancouver, then we will head out of town towards Horseshoe Bay. We will probably be wanting food between 2 and 3PM. Our stomach clock will be three hours earlier, so I am wanting some delicious food that can serve as our dinner but we will have only 30-45 minutes to eat. If it comes down to having to get "take-out" we can eat once we reach the ferry.

I don't know the area, except for having once eaten at Joe Fortes. I'm trying to avoid resorting to eating any old crap. We will have already suffered something "fast" at the Detroit airport. As part of my equation of having time to sit down and eat, I'm assuming that traffic on Highway 1 will not normally be heavy or slow on a Tuesday afternoon at 3:30PM. Recommendations can be anywhere in the fourth street area or along the Highway 1 route to Horseshoe Bay. A few blocks out of the way should be OK as long as access is not difficult. I love fresh seafood. Oriental immediately comes to mind as fast, or I wouldn't mind a high quality burger.
It looks like a thirty minute drive from our last shopping stop on Fourth Street to the ferry, so if we have to get food "to-go" it could get cold. Perhaps we should have an alternative of cold "deli" style food? I do not know if the ferry has a microwave we can use.
Thanks in advance!
