East Hampton Restaurants 2009?

Although I have been going out there all my life, I cannot keep up with what is truly good out around East Hampton, versus just trendy. Used to go to Gordons with my parents. It is gone. The Laundry used to be a good standby, now it has moved and gets bad reviews. Everyone seems to like Sam's for pizza, which I do not understand (we like Conco D'Oro in Sag Harbor). Gosman's topsider was AWFUL, Duryeas is always crowded. Can't even get in to Nick & Toni's since I am not famous. So, what's a person to do -- having houseguests and don't want to cook every meal or eat pizza. Any suggestions?
