Finally stopped by the East Coast Grill. We luckily decided to eat at 6pm instead of 7pm since they don't take reservations on Fri-Sat. It was mobbed at 7pm, which is very surprising because of the long weekend.
The tuna taco appetizer was as good as everyone said. Sort of a tuna sashima fajita, though you only get two slivers of tuna per fajita and two fajitas per dish. Also had the sirloin tip appetizer (two skewers) which was tasty.
For entrees, the fish was really the best. I unfortunately, had the shrimp/scallops which was just ok in comparison. The swordfish was amazingly tender and moist (I usually avoid swordfish when eating out because people seem to think it should be cooked to have the chewy texture of steak). The mahi mahi was also excellent and tender and moist. Another person we went with had the BBQ trio which was ok (as others have mentioned, there are other BBQ places that are better).
Mango iced tea has almost no mango taste.
The mango ice cream banana split was similiar; what mango taste?
The chocolate torte was pretty good, but nothing spectacular.
On a slightly different note, the Opera Cake at Trader Joe's is excellent. It's a chocolatey tiramisu and good if you're a tiramisu lover :-)
