I usually prepare and bake my pies on Thanksgiving day. It would be a great timesaver if I could prepare my apple pie today, put it in the fridge and bake it tomorrow morning. I really dont want to bake it today.
So, the question is, can I prepare the pie today but bake it tomorrow? I am afraid the apples will turn brown, even though I do put in some lemon juice, and that the juices will sit on the bottom crust and make it soggy.
