downhill alert -- Ubol's Kitchen

I am one of the few who used to think that Ubol's filled in as a fine last-minute fix when local delivery feels like the only possible way to get Thai food into a tired mouth. Although no Sripraphai, to me they were tasty enough to satisfy a craving. No longer! Last night's Pad Kee Mao tasted like it was coated in Old El Paso taco powder, the papaya salad like half-dressed coleslaw and my roommate's coagulated bean thread noodles seemed to be seasoned with nothing but soy sauce. There was absolutely nothing Thai about this food, not at all. I've never felt so duped.

Watch out! What does anyone think about Thai Angel or Thai Pavillion? Or is there any other Astorian Thai that I don't know about?
