The investigation continues...
Sunday afternoon we brought my mother in law, who was visiting from Denver, to Quesadillas Dona Lolis. My husband and his mother each had a pambaso, I had a pork gordita, and we all shared a chorizo quesadilla. On this visit everything was great, from the corny tortillas (not greasy this time) to the fresh fillings. I think i complained in the last thread that the sauces were too salty, but this time they were not. Service, as always, was sweet and prompt.
So I don't know - maybe it's a kitchen staff issue? It seems like the quality varies in a way that could suggest there are some staff that are more talented than others, and it just depends on who you get.
In any case, thumbs up on this round.
