I'm visiting Paris for the first time next week and am looking for some recs.
My husband and I generally like eating in non-fussy, more down-home-type restaurants on vacation. One of our favorite places ever is Tratt. Mario in Florence (in Santa Croce) where they serve hunks of bread, cheap wine, and incredible pasta and roast meats and cater to a local worker crowd.
We'll be staying near the Arc De Triomphe, but will also be exploring all over (and hopefully checking out some of the younger, hipper neigborhoods, wherever those are) and would love some suggestions.
Extra bonus points if the place serves great duck confit which we both love.
