How to Distinguish Viking 7-Ply and 3-Ply Stainless Roasting Pans?

Viking makes a nice 3-ply stainless steel roasting pan, shown in the photo below. Apparently they made a 7-ply version of this product about eight years ago and that was discontinued. How can we identify the 7-ply version if we find one in the after market? Would the only differentiation be on weight alone? If someone has the 7-ply version, what does that weigh with and without the roasting rack?
Does anyone know if there is a stainless rack available for this pan, available separately?
