Disappointing meal at Roy's

Went for the prix fixe Monday special. Lobster potstickers were good, dessert was good. but entrée was cold. Cold, slightly crunchy potatoes and cold fish. They took it back in the kitchen and heated it up slightly, but the potatoes were still undercooked. The bathroom was also filthy-- not that it affects the food, but added to the unfortunate experience. We waited about 20 minutes for dessert after finishing our meals. They seemed to have a lot of people working, but the experience made it seem they were understaffed. Had it been a little hole-in-the-wall, I might have said it was a decent dining experience, but I expected better. The last time I ate there, the meal was pretty much perfect. The food was wonderful and the service was even better (I got a dessert with "happy belated birthday" written in chocolate after being snowed in on my actual birthday, and the waiter ran into the kitchen on a very busy night and came back with a full list of ingredients for a sauce I loved scribbled on an envelope. All this without seeming overly solicitous or fake-nice like so many waiters).

Has anyone else been recently, and, if so, how was it? Should we try again?
