Disappointing Cooke's in Orleans

Steven Leibowitz | May 2, 2005 09:35 AM

Having not been to Cooke's in quite a while, because a number of people I know felt it had slipped noticeably, I went there this weekend with my daughter. Based on our fish sandwiches, I don't have any reason to think anything other than overpriced, average at best efforts. When 2 sandwiches (no chips, no fries, not a lot of fish) and 2 sodas comes to about $17, that's not right. When the fish is a little too symetrical on that roll, you start thinking frozen. There are many better choices.

I think the people that own the Cooke's in Mashpee and Hyannis are different than Orleans.
