We need to meet for dinner this Friday somewhere between St. Paul and Northfield, my mother and my in-laws included in the dinner. Can't be exotic. It must be nice enough for the company described above (my mom is visiting from NYC). Outer tier suburbs are OK. Any thoughts?
By the way, I finally tried one chowhound-suggested croissant: Franklin Ave Bakery. They were good, but a little pricey: I can't see myself paying, I think it was $1.50, every morning. Maybe I am being unrealistic in my pricing expectations.
