I'm posting it here because it has (at least to me) some interesting discussion about dim sum history, trends in dim sum, the difference between northern-style dim sum (such as Szechuan best outside of Baltimore) and traditional dim sum restaurants, as well as things to look for in good dim sum restaurants. These are all concepts that have been discussed previously on this board.
I know the part about LA dim sum places isn't helpful to people on this board.
