Dim sum @100 Degree Hot Pot Restaurant / State College, PA

linguafood | Sep 7, 201403:36 PM     8

Finally, the dim sum carts have arrived!! As if the fabulous hot pots and huge Sichuan menu wasn't reason enough to go, now you can enjoy your favorite yumcha treats, courtesy of a chef hailing as far as LA's Chinatown.

Woot. The perfect hangover brunch destination for the weekend!

char siu bao

not my thang, but very well executed.

tofu skins stuffed with minced pork

perhaps my favorite dish of the meal

chicken feet (no duh!)

eh. also not my cuppa, but the lovers of chicken feet liked this.

glutenous rice in lotus leaf

not my thing at all, but apparently also very good.

chive dumplings

nice, tho the dough was a bit on the sticky side.

scallop dumplings

good, not great.

pork shumai.

excellent, but we were getting stuffed :-D

steamed ribs.

also very good.

tasty and incredibly tender tripe.

another favorite.

Of course, there are plenty of other items available (they were out of shrimp shu mai, unfortunately), but there's only so much even a fairly hungry crowd of 5 people can eat.
