I need to make a dessert for a friend who is diabetic and I am drawing a blank. I would to make a cake or cookies but fruit that is either in season or frozen is possible. I have never utilized Splenda or other non-sucrose sweetener, and I am wondering if that can be substituted for granulated sugar w/o other changes? This person is older and their tastes tend to be traditional but I am open to all possibilities.
