Desperately seeking hardshells

Anyone out there have a rec for a restaurant that serves hardshell crabs? Ideally, it would be in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Delaware and NJ are OK for a location. I tried Crabby's in Belcoville, NJ, on the way to the shore (route 50 2 miles south of the rt. 40 junction), but the crabs had a strong ammonia odor and we sent them back.
I heard Chickie's and Pete's sells hardhsells, but have not tried them.
I called Lou's crabhouse in South Philly, but the dining area is closed for renovations. I would like to find a place without frills.
