Restaurants & Bars 1

After several very good trips to this restaurant in Roslindale Square, I, unfortunately, have to report a recent misstep. Went there last week to celebrate my daugther's birthday. My daughter ordered the Statler Chicken Breast because the kitchen was no longer making her favorite dish, the Pork Tenderloin. When all our meals arrived, she was shocked to see shrimp on her plate (she won't eat shrimp). When we told the waitress, she said it was the chicken and shrimp pesto. She said that she was sorry but that if my daughter wanted the Statler Chicken it would take quite a while. We said no (as we would all be done with our meals) and my daughter ended up sharing with my wife. My son ordered the pork chops, ate only about 1/3 and we took the rest home. The next day I reheated the pork chop, cut into it and discovered that much of it was still raw, I promptly threw it away. I then called the Restaurant, spoke to a manager, who apologized. I gave my name and telephone number to the manager and asked him to let the owner know, thinking that the owner might want to know and might call me personally. Aside from the meal, I am equally disappointed that the owner has failed to call me. Don't think I will be back.
