Went back to Delfina after not going for almost a year. Food was excellent, specially the chicken livers grilled with bay leaf and glazed with some balsamic. The chicken agnolotti were as good as I remembered. The papardelle with chanterelles were also very good. It was warm on Saturday so the braised lamb shank they featured was not appealing. Shared the steak frites. A very competent preparation, but I thought that the demi-glace sauce was not necessary. The fries were crips and tasty. I much prefer thir roasted meat specials when they have them. Very good plum crostata for dessert. Service was a bit off, not horrible, but not quite on top of it as I remember. There were some long gaps between our appetizer and pasta courses and then again between pastas and meat.
Still completely solid and worth returning to often. I hope it will be less than a year for my next visit.
