I had long been meaning to try this place, seeing as how I consider myself a frozen custard aficionado after my childhood in STL that involved trips to Ted Drewes. I know it's not a find, rather much publicized. Nonetheless, that doesn't make it unworthy of a visit!

My verdict? WOW. I thought it was great. I don't much care for chocolate and orange together (the flavor combo for the day), so had straight up vanilla (always the best way to sample a new custard, anyway). It was fantastic, creamy, good vanilla flavor. Plus, I sampled the pink grapefruit sorbet, which was great. Wish I had had room to also sample the lemon ginger sorbet!

Frankly, I thought this was better than Carl's in Fredericksburg (although Carl's has a far better ambience). Now I just wish I lived closer!
