Decent Chinese in Cucamonga

Chandavkl | Jul 23, 2005 02:29 AM

To my knowledge there aren't any exceptional Chinese restaurants in the Inland Empire, most likely because of the proximity of a large number of top notch Chinese restaurants in Rowland Heights, Diamond Bar and West Covina. However, I did come across a decent place in Rancho Cucamonga that has a number of items normally not found in neighborhood Chinese restaurants. China Point, 9028 Archibald, serves items such as jellyfish, several types of squid dishes, fish soup and sea cucumber. The lemon fish fillet and tomato tofu were actually quite good. Certainly not a threat to the places on the L.A. county side, but an alternative for those who don't want to make the trek.
