Planning a 3 day trip to Normandy (mainly to see D-Day beaches). We are a family of four with two kids (8 & 10). Trying to identify restaurants that are reasonably priced (kids are good eaters). We all especially love seafood. Have a notional list below based on previous CH threads.
We are staying at a B&B in Meuvaines.
Thanks in advance!
Day 1 - arrive Caen
lunch in Caen - Bouchon du Vaugueux (note: I dont like tripe - presume lots of other stuff to eat?)
Day 2 - Honfleur/Trouville
lunch - Au p'tit marayeur, Honfleur
Dinner - Bayeux? Rapiere a bit $ for us. Any comments on Le Volet qui Penche or Le Pommier
Day 3 - Bayeux
quick lunch before 1 pm pick up for D-day beaches tour - suggestions? Does La Reine Mathilde have sandwiches, etc?
dinner - Le Quai ESt, Courseulles sur mer
