Went to Davio's tonight. Crowded as usual, which always blows me away given the prices.

Appetizers- Gnocchi great as usual. Fois gras rather oversalted, which was an issue with almost all the food.

Main courses- Prime rib eye somewhat grisly, and charred to the point of actually being unpleasant, and this is the way I like my steak. Two ordered rare, came out medium rare. Veal chop, at 42.00, sent back. Ordered medium rare. Tough and overcooked. Waitress comment- have you checked the meat near the bone? Yes,and it was well done. Mac and cheese tasty.

Desserts wonderful. $330.00 without tip for 3 adults and one child, who had mac and cheese.

Good, but not good at the price. Have been here probably ten times, and there is a major diminution in quality and service on this visit.
