I'd like some recommendations for a few different tastes. We will be staying in the Times-Square area, but more than willing to hop on the train. The only requirement is that nothing be terribly expensive. Anything with entrees in the
$15-$20 range is acceptable. I'd really appreciate any recommendations for following:

1) Italian...would like to have some realy good Italian w/o paying a small fortune. We have been to Mulberry street and I wasn't at all impressed. I'm not opposed to going back to Mulberry, but just a good place.

2) Tapas...REAL tapas. Last time I was in New York we used Zaggat as a means to find Tapas. The two restaurants we tried were definitely NOT tapas. The waiters told us just to order a couple of appetizers. I want some place that has a great and true Tapas menu.

4) Greek...I'd love to find some place that is small and privately owned with outstanding spanikopita.

5) American Bistro type fare.

Thanks in advance for all your recommemdations.
