so we stopped in FLORENT the other day (hey look at me i could write for that ny press rag tee-hee!) and i happened upon an extremely tasty dish i thought i should share with you all. for those of you familiar with the FLORENT menu, this was not the regular menu item of vegetable couscous but a special of the day.
the special of shrimp curry couscous was suprisingly spicy and hypercurrydelicious. lots and lots of medium sized peal and eat shrimp, attractive baby carrot stalks, brussels sprouts and onions in the bowl with the fluffy couscous made this one of the most enjoyable dishes i've had in awhile.
i was kind of shocked at how good it was.
i believe i've seen this dish offered before so look for it on the weekend lunch/dinner menu, skip the steak frites thing and go for it. cost is $10.
