I just received a Cuisinhart ice cream maker and have terrible results.
I made 2 batches and also have problems . I froze the bowl in 0 freezer for 48hours and also the put the filling in ref for 12 hours as having it down to 0 degrees is needed, So all was cold enough and followed all directions. The actual churning is very slow and does nothing. It is as liquid as when it started. I even left it go for 30 min to see if it would thicken. Never thickens at all. I then pour it all in a covered bowl and pt in freezer. It took another 12+ hours the "ice cream" just turns into a solid mess if ice. Not creamy at all. I just made the first vanilla recepe in the book.
