Found - another cuban sandwich

Dylan Yolles | Dec 29, 200102:49 AM

I don't think I'd seen this place mentioned before: Cali Cuba (or is it Cuba Cali? one of the two) on San Fernando Blvd in Glendale, right across the street from the Astro DJ store. I had a perfectly respectable cuban sandwich there today, and they have the other usual varieties (e.g, the midnight) plus a few other types I hadn't seen before. And all of the typical cuban specialties. This place wasn't stellar, but it was pretty decent (my chief complaint was the frozen french fries) and it was dirt cheap ($4.50 for the sandwich with fries; add $0.99 for soup or salad). There's also a Cuban fish and chips stand right next door; never having tried Cuban fish and chips, I cannot tell you if it is good.
