I just made a crumb cake and I think the cake part is a little dry. The topping was lovely, but I’m wondering if I can do anything to get the cake better? I’ve already cut it up and will be taking it into work tomorrow. For a normal cake, I would have added in some simple syrup for soaking. Not sure that will work here?
