cranberry sauce snafu

I was having a pre-Thanksgiving craving for cranberry sauce. I found a nice recipe, divided it in half and have it simmering on the stove. It's basically cranberries, sugar, orange juice, water, balsamic vinegar. Well, multitasker that I am, I didn't notice that instead of 1 bag of cranberries it called for 2. So I have 2x the amount of liquid & sugar to cranberries. Can I just boil it off? If I drain some, I'm worried about all the flavor going away...Live & learn. Thanks.
